A sensory scandal; a street light circus.
In and Out of Context  brings street art to the circus and social art and philosophy to the street, an interactive interruption to the daily narrative.  Multi-disciplinary circus, theatre, comedy, dance, costume, installation, an original sound track and live music are tools to re-contexualise the urban environment and pose questions around some per-conceived notions;

Our cities and our culture have become immersed in media and calculated imagery.  Uncountable times daily we pass it off as background - but it's a swamp.  Corporations have assumed rights over the spaces we inhabit whilst exploiting our natural desires and instilling within the drive to consume.  But nature can never allow this to be truly satisfying, and thank goodness for that!

Behold the street; the front lawn of the public voice.  This piece is a moment about being active, passionate and full of hope.  It's about laughing with ourselves and seeking great experience.  Multi-award winning performer Tanya Drewery and performer/musician Cally O'Neill team with CO OP Co-operative and special guests to bring you - In and Out of Context.
