Everybody Cool Lives Here presents: RESIDENCE as a part of the 2013 Wellington Fringe Festival.
Residence takes place in Inverlochy House, rumored to be one of the most haunted locations in Wellington. Everybody Cool Lives Here welcomes you to tour the house after-hours during their candlelit promenade performance.
Constructed in 1878 Inverlochy House was once the home of one of Wellington’s financial and political leaders. The house still contains many of its original fittings and fixtures, including its original tiled floor, a magnificent kauri staircase, and exterior fountains.
As you are led around the school you will discover each room with it’s own unique performance, from an immersive sound piece to an intimate solo.
With limited audience numbers Residence will become an inclusive experience. Allowing audiences to be an important part of the stories shared.
Under the umbrella of Everybody Cool Lives Here (ECLH), Residence has become the playful and interactive experience in which ECLH strives to produce.
Residence is a collaboration between friends and artisans each bringing their own flavour and set of expertise. With a sense of fun and quirkiness this exciting performance will reflect these feelings, encouraging audiences to engage with the lighter moments of life.
Featuring the work of Rose Kirkup, Nic Lane, Chris Ulutupu, Aidan Weekes, Ben Bro, Meg Rollandi, Matt Sullivan and Ian Hammond.
