Jake Howie: Girls Girls Girls

Jake Howie

Jake Howie has always been one of the girls, and embraces it with gusto - from being Ginger in Spice Girl routines to sympathising with Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction (even though she boiled that bunny out of spite, was she really the villain?). Jake has dedicated himself to the girls from day dot, but what does it mean to be one of the girls when you’re a boy? Let Jake take you through his credentials as he uncovers that being one of the boys or one of the girls is about anything but gender.

Jake has appeared at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney for the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras showcase Laugh Out Proud, on SBS TV’s Insight, on massively popular podcasts The Chaser Report and Just The Gist, and has appeared on TVNZ and BBC. Jake's Australian solo debut Spakle! topped TimeOut Sydney's 'Best Things To Do' list at Sydney Comedy Festival, and global media juggernaut LADbible published a feature article about the award-winning comedian (Reading Comedy Festival New Act of the Year). Jake was selected to be the opening comedian and warm up act for Jim Jefferies for Season 2 of popular BBC show The 1% Club.

Don’t miss Jake's debut of his latest solo show, Girls Girls Girls, to see this global comedian shine in a love story dedicated to the girls who raised him, the girls beside him, and the girl inside him.
