Physical theatre artist Jen McArthur pens a "love letter to sign language and Deaf culture" in this bilingual interactive comedy/drama. The stakes are high for Arts of the Week TV programme, as it faces the cutting room floor. A controversial reporter is brought in to rark things up and faces a Deaf-led performance group that provides  more of a challenge than anticipated. Using both New Zealand Sign Language and English, this work-in-progress play comes after Jen's two years of study in NZSL and Deaf Culture at Te Herenga Waka/Victoria University and AUT and collaboration with the cast and members of the Wellington Deaf community. Development funded by Arts and Culture Fund, Wellington City Council.
